Slaves were treated as property and, unlike people just because of the difference of their skin color. Harriet's life was tough as a slave, and because of her believe in stopping slavery was the cause of her health problems. but not at her believe's that slavery was wrong and immoral; And that was the cause of her to be remembered as a hero.
