Harriet Tubman was a scout, spy , and nurse during the civil war. She was the first woman in the United States to plan and lead a gun raid. And serve behind enemy lines. She was also a public speacker, storyteller , went all around the New England states, and spoke out against slavery. She retired of the Civil War when ended. Lived in a convalescent home that she had established. She spent her life with her mother and father and later died at the age of ninety-three due to her pneunomia.
